A proud graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Dr. Friedman served his country following graduation by enlisting in the United States Public Health Service in St. Ignatius, Montana. There, he spent three years as the Director of Dental Services in General Family Practice in the Indian Health Service. At the end of his tour of duty, he returned to the Washington, D.C. area, where he opened his private general practice that continues today.

Stephen J. Friedman, DDS, FACD, attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
